The Salt River Campout trip is the perfect getaway for those looking to take on a thrilling white water rafting experience and enjoy riverside camping in the scenic southwest. Raft a full day through the Upper Salt River Canyon’s secret bends and intricate boulder gardens with rustic riverside camping the night before or evening of your rafting adventure.
Option 1 (Camp the Night Before your Full Day of Rafting): Meet us at our office at 5pm on the night before your rafting adventure. Pack your overnight bag with all of your essential gear and we will shuttle you three miles to our established campsite complete with toilets and a rustic fire ring. Set up camp while your guides prepare a fresh and delicious dinner. Wake up early to a hot breakfast before heading back to our office where you will get suited up to take off on your full day rafting adventure. Splash through fast-paced and exhilarating class III-IV rapids, soak in the breathtaking scenery and stop for a wonderful fajita lunch. At the conclusion of your trip, we will deliver you back to your vehicle so you can head off to your next exciting destination.
Option 1A (Raft to Camp the Night Before your Full Day of Rafting): Meet us at our office at 4pm the day before your full day rafting adventure. Pack your bag with essential camp gear and get suited up in your river gear. Instead of shuttling three miles to our riverside campsite, join our guide and raft 5 beautiful and exciting miles to the beach adjacent to our camp. This option must be booked over the phone by one of our friendly reservation staff. The cost for this trip upgrade is an additional $90.40 per adult and $80.59 per youth (includes fees).
Option 2 (Camp the Night Of your Full Day of Rafting): Meet us at our office at 9am the day of your full day rafting adventure. Get suited up in your river gear and get ready to tackle a full day of exceptional white water. Class III-IV rapids mingle with gorgeous scenery on this stretch of the Upper Salt River. Stop for a hot steak, chicken and veggie fajita lunch at the same location you will camp later in the day. After lunch, you’ll hit more fast-paced rapids before hopping on our shuttle back to your vehicle. Here you will pack up all of our overnight gear and head back to camp. Set up your tent while our guides cook you a freshly prepared and delicious dinner. Relax under the stars and get a restful night’s sleep before waking up early to a hot breakfast. After breakfast we will shuttle you back to your vehicle so you can take off to your next thrilling destination.

These multi-day adventures travel through remote canyons full of exciting whitewater and riverside beach campsites.
